For the price and ability to fold, this machine is great! I prefer to do lagree style workouts with a mix of traditional Pilates. I gave it a 4 because the carriage came with a rip. I'm not sure on the best way to patch the rip in order to prevent it from getting worse.

I was a member of various Pilates ProWorks studios for years and have probably taken well over a thousand classes over time. I was really excited when they came out with an at home Fitformer as I can't go to the studios now. I've had the machine for over a month now and am loving having it! It is so nice to be able to hop on for a full hour or even just 15 minutes during breaks between work calls. I do miss the shoulder pads which I know were removed to keep the machine smaller and the carriage is somewhat hard so I add a yoga towel when on my back. I actually think the front handles which match the back handles of the in studio machines are an upgrade over the in studio ones though as they allow for so much flexibility in movement and position. I haven't found any moves that you can do on the in studio Fitformer that you can't do on the at home version. Long story short, I am loving having the at home Fitformer and highly recommend it!

I considered several different models of at-home reformers and ultimately chose this one because of the second set of handles and the additional platform on the back. It's amazing how many more exercises you can do from the back of the machine. I like an active sweaty style of pilates and this machine does the trick. I would definitely recommend this reformer. It is much sturdier than the other compact models I've seen.

Extremely easy set up and love that it has substantial back AND front platforms, unlike a lot of compact machines. The one thing that would make it perfect would be the addition of shoulder pads (the lack of them makes it difficult to stay on the carriage without holding the base if you're doing heavy leg presses on the front bars).
